GLUE FOR BAZA CERAMIC TILES

Dry mix based on cement, mineral fillers, fractionated sand and modifying additives that improve operational properties. 

RANGE OF APPLICATION: The mixture is intended for laying ceramic tiles of small and medium sizes on horizontal and vertical plastered, concrete and brick substrates. Glue is a mortar of wide application: it can be used to level surfaces with a layer of up to 5 mm and as a masonry mortar. For interior and exterior use.     

PREPARATION OF PRIMARY STRUCTURE: The base must be strong, thoroughly cleaned from dust, dirt, oils, etc. The roughness deeper than 5 mm must first be leveled with plaster mixes. Before carrying out work, highly absorbent substrates should first be treated with a deep penetration primer.

PREPARATION OF MORTAR: 

1. Take a precisely measured amount of water (4.75 - 5.5 liters per 25 kg bag);

2. Pour the mixture into water;

3. Stir with a construction mixer or drill with a special nozzle until a homogeneous mass is obtained;

4. Maintain a technological pause of 5-10 minutes for maturing the solution;

5. Agitate repeatedly.

After that, the glue is ready for use within 3 hours with periodic stirring.

OPERATIONAL PROCEDURE:

The adhesive solution is applied to the prepared base with a notched trowel. The adhesive solution should be applied to the surface area that can be tiled for 15 minutes. After application adhesive tile is applied to the base and pressed. Within 10 minutes after laying, the position of the tile can be adjusted. Tile joints must be cleaned immediately after laying the tiles. Work on filling the tile joints is done after the adhesive joint has completely dried (drying out time is from 12 to 24 hours). Moving on floor cladding can be done no earlier than 24 hours after laying tiles. Tile cladding can be fully operational after 3 days. The tool is cleaned with water immediately after use.

OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY: The dry mix contains cement. When mixed with water, the product gives an alkaline reaction. To prevent skin irritation, avoid contact with exposed areas of the body. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water and consult a doctor if necessary. In addition to the above information, you should be guided by the safety instructions in construction.

WARRANTY AND STORAGE: Warranty period of storage in intact original packaging is 6 months from the date of manufacture. Shelf life is 12 months. Store in dry rooms, excluding moisture ingress in bags with dry mix. Transportation of products should be carried out under conditions ensuring safety of packaging and protection against moisture. Store a maximum of 10 bags vertically. The manufacturer's instructions for using dry mix are advisory in nature and do not replace the professional training of the contractor.
