KONFOR

KONFOR

All-purpose adhesive for tiles KONFOR

Dry mix based on cement, mineral fillers, fractionated sand and modifying additives that improve operational properties.

RANGE OF APPLICATION: The mixture is intended for laying ceramic, porcelain tiles of small and medium sizes, slabs of natural and artificial stone with water absorption of at least 1% on vertical and horizontal plastered, concrete, gas concrete, brick and other mineral primary structures. Glue is a mortar of wide application: it can be used to fill tile joints, level the surface with a layer of up to 5 mm. For interior and exterior use.

PREPARATION OF PRIMARY STRUCTURE: The primary structure must be strong, thoroughly cleaned from dust, dirt, oils, etc. Roughnesses deeper than 5 mm must first be leveled with plaster mixes. Before carrying out work, highly absorbent structures should first be treated with a deep penetration primer. The base must be strong, thoroughly cleaned from dust, dirt, oils, etc. Roughnesses deeper than 5 mm must first be leveled with plaster mixes. Before carrying out work, highly absorbent structures should first be treated with a deep penetration primer.

PREPARATION OF MORTAR:

1. Take a precisely measured amount of water (5.75 - 6.75 liters per 25 kg bag.)

2. Pour the mixture into water;

3. Stir with a construction mixer or drill with a special nozzle until a homogeneous mass is obtained;

4. Make a technological pause of 5-10 minutes for maturing the solution;

5. Stir repeatedly.

After that, the glue is ready for use within 4 hours with periodic stirring.

OPERATIONAL PROCEDURE:

The adhesive solution is applied to the prepared primary structure using a notched trowel. The solution should be applied to a surface area that can be tiled for 15 minutes. After application of adhesive tile is applied to the primary structure and pressed. Within 20 minutes after laying the position of a tile can be adjusted. Tile joints must be cleaned immediately after laying the tiles. Work on filling tile joints is done after the adhesive joint has completely dried (drying out time is 16 to 24 hours). Walking on the floor claddings can be carried out no earlier than in 24 hours after laying the tiles. Tile cladding can be fully operational after 3 days. The tool is cleaned with water immediately after use.

OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY: The dry mix contains cement. When mixed with water, the product gives an alkaline reaction. To prevent skin irritation, avoid contact with exposed areas of the body. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water and consult a doctor if necessary. In addition to the above information, you should be guided by the safety instructions in construction.

KORUND TOPPING

PREPARATION OF PRIMARY STRUCTURE: The building must have a roof; windows and doors must be closed. The temperature of the primary structure and ambient air during work must not be lower than + 5°C. At temperatures above + 25°C and/or humidity less than 60%, as well as in absence of protection from drafts and the sun, the top layer of the concrete floor quickly loses water and dries, which will not allow for a high-quality grouting of the dry mixture. Preparation of primary structure, type, quantity and location of reinforcement, concrete class and concrete slab thickness, concrete mix characteristics should be determined by the project in accordance with the applicable regulatory documents and work technology.

SUITABLE PRIMARY STRUCTURES: Freshly laid (new) concrete of the brand prescribed in the project or corresponding to floor loads. For floors with light and moderate loads, a concrete grade of at least B22.5 is recommended; with heavy loads - not lower than B25. Use high-quality concrete mix. The percentage of air involved in the mixture should not exceed 3%. When preparing concrete, calcium chloride, salt water and air-entraining additives cannot be used. To reduce likelihood of shrinkage cracks, it is recommended to use hyperplasticizers.

PREPARATION OF MORTAR: Laying, leveling and compacting concrete.

Place concrete in the prepared map so that the mark of the “finished floor” is reached. For compaction of concrete, use an in-depth vibrator or a vibrating bar depending on thickness and technology of laying a concrete slab. After compaction, level the concrete surface according to the rules and using control rails until the required level is reached.

PRELIMINARY CONCRETE FLOAT WORK: As soon as the concrete begins to support the weight of a person and finishing machine, almost without breaking, carry out pre-troweling of the concrete with a disk to remove a dried crust of “cement milk” and for squeezing out water to the surface in order to create a small layer of fresh “cement paste”. Concrete adjacent to structures, columns, doorways and walls is treated primarily because in these places it dries faster than in the rest of the area. Areas inaccessible for machine processing are manually rubbed with trowels. Before processing, excess water is removed from the concrete surface.

FIRST APPLICATION OF A HARDENER: Apply dry hardening mixture (~ 65% of the total consumption) to the treated concrete surface using special distribution trolleys. Try to achieve a uniform thickness of a hardener layer. First of all, apply the mixture to areas near walls, columns, doorways and structures, as these areas lose moisture first.

ATTENTION! It is forbidden to add water and wet the mixture, as this will reduce the technical characteristics of the coating and may cause delamination of a hardened layer.

FIRST GRINDING OF THE HARDENER: Immediately after the mixture absorbs moisture from the concrete, which will be visible by darkening, carry out trowel finish by a finishing machine with a disc. Begin trowel finish near walls, columns, and doorways. It is recommended to trowel until a uniformly mixed mixture of hardener and "cement paste" on the surface appears. Areas not accessible for machining are manually trowelled with trowels.
