SCOPE OF APPLICATION:

Penatut 512 mixture is intended for gluing heat-insulating materials (polystyrene/mineral wool boards) and for making a protective reinforced layer when insulating facades of buildings and structures. It is used for insulation on brick, concrete, plastered and other mineral surfaces of new buildings, as well as buildings in operation.

PREPARATION OF THE BASE:

Preparation of the base shall be carried out in accordance with the Flowchart for the installation of thermal insulation of building envelopes using dry mixtures. The base shall be dry, firm and free from contaminants and substances that reduce adhesion (dust, grease, coatings, etc.). All fragile sections of the base shall be removed and treated with a deep-penetrating VENTUM BETONOKONTAKT primer. After the primer has dried, proceed to repair the defects. Roughness of the base, cracks and grooves up to 10 mm deep shall be filled with Penatut 512. Defects greater than 10 mm in depth shall be filled with a polymineral putty or leveling compound ROTTO FASAD 710 plaster. Surfaces affected by microorganisms (fungi, moss) shall be cleaned with a wire brush and then treated with an antifungal primer. Before gluing thermal insulation boards, the surfaces to be insulated shall be cleaned from dust, treated with a deep-penetrating primer and allowed to dry completely (at least 4 hours). Highly absorbing bases, for example, aerated concrete, silicate brick, are recommended to be primed with a primer two or more times and kept until completely dry (at least 4 hours).

PERFORMANCE OF WORK:

The work shall be performed under the following conditions: - when using Penatut 512, air and base temperature shall be: from +5°С to +30°С, relative humidity - not more than 60%; It is forbidden to carry out work under direct exposure to sunlight, during strong winds, rain, as well as after rain on a wet base. It is necessary to protect the layers from the effects of precipitation. To protect the facade from atmospheric effects, it is recommended to close scaffolding with a special net or film, and install drainage systems on the building. The Penatut 512 dry mixture shall be gradually added to a measured amount of clean water (the water temperature for Penatut 512 is + 15 ... + 20°C) and mixed using a low-speed drill with a mixer attachment (400 - 800 rpm) until a homogeneous mass without lumps. Provide technological pause for 5 minutes and re-mix the mixture. The prepared Penatut 512 mixture can be used for no more than 2 hours.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:

Shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture indicated on the package. During storage and transportation, protection against atmospheric precipitation and the safety of the packaging from mechanical damage shall be ensured. Store in original closed packaging in a cool, dry place. It is allowed to store and transport at subzero temperatures. During storage, avoid sudden fluctuations in temperature and humidity. Avoid caking of mixture. After the expiration of the storage period, the packaging and product shall be disposed of as household waste.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Basis: mix of cement, mineral fillers and modifying agents. Water consumption for the preparation of the adhesive mixture: 5.5-6.0 liters of water per 25 kg. Usage time: Penatut 512 is about 120 minutes.
